Book Review — Gratitude

Gratitude: A Prayer and Praise Coloring Journal - A few weeks ago I recieved a beautiful little coloring journal in the mailbox. I was planning to do a review after I finished the project I have in mind for it…..but I need to get the review posted here =)

Gratitude: A Prayer and Praise Colouring Journal is a fun and beautiful way to encourage Bible study for those artists in your life. Full of questions, Scripture, coloring pages that coordinate with the Scripture, and places to journal your way through the study, you learn as you engage in a fun activity.

The pictures are beautiful, and have many uses in projects I have planned…..I actually requested to review it for that aspect, and not the coloring…..those of you who know me know I am not a “colour-er”, not being particularly gifted with creativity in the area of pictures, paper and colouring utensils :P

This book is suitable for many age ranges, and colour pencils and crayons could be used. Probably not marker, since it would bleed through the pages. It would make a nice gift for the young girls in your life who still enjoy coloring, but may feel as if they are too old — giving them a “grown-up” colouring activity to do. It is small enough to fit in a bag, so can be easily traveled with. It has a hard-back cover, so you have a firm surface for your artistic endeavors.

* I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher in return for an honest review.
I was not required to post a favourable opinion.*

I am a 23 year old young lady who is redeemed and saved from my sin only by the grace of God. A bibliophile at heart with a love of history who desires to see the Word of God practically applied to all aspects of our daily lives -- in our homes, in the grocery store, in the political realm. I strive to put my jumbled, chaotic thoughts down onto paper -- reducing them into black and white rows, letters, sentences. Into some semblance of sanity. And I share them here with all of you, where I can challenge you, make you think, and cause you to ask questions. I am the oldest of eleven children living the country life in the deep south.

What are your thoughts?
